Since the start in 1974 the Hesnes Group has developed into a diversified group
of around 20 companies, mainly related to the shipping business. The Group
employs a staff of around 110 highly dedicated and professional people worldwide.
60 of our employees work from the head office at Tenvik, Nøtterøy.
In addition, we have regional offices in Rio de Janeiro, Antwerp, Savannah,
Moscow, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Sandefjord Airport Torp.

Hesnes Shipping AS was established in 1974. Since the start, the company has been acting as specialized shipbrokers in worldwide automobile transportation. Our start-up coincided with the development of modern oceangoing car transportation, and we have since then been able to maintain a central position in this field. More than 2 million cars are annually shipped under our contracts and tonnage arrangements.
