General information
Altafjord Camping is located the innermost part of Langfjordbotn, 80 km west of Alta, 320 km east of Tromsø, 320 km south-west from North Cape, 40 km south from Øksfjord, and 3 km from the county border between Troms and Finnmark.
We have 30 cabins available for rent, from simple 2-man cabins to, 2 bedroom condos up to 7 beds. At Altafjord camping you can enjoy our beautiful nature by forest- and mountain walks, or fishing from the pier or from rowing- and motorboats. If you want peace and quiet, head to the library and gallery. There you will find beautiful pictures from the Arctic and Antarctic, northern lights photos and images and artifacts from the Sami culture. In the chapel , you can see the photo exhibition "Laestadius lives in the North", and the farm museum you can see ancient artifacts, from the campingsite, dating back to the war.
